What does it take to connect with the masses? Today's artist to community system is Social Networking and Mass Emails.

It get's harder than yesteryear. Making some phone calls, handing out flyers, or simply attending art shows.

It's this and much more.

Becoming a "set apart" from spammers' lists can be rough. Especially when you first start off online to sell or represent your own art pieces.

Costs for online entities to promote you can start from $75.00 per month (for low end) to $399.00 per month (for a more professional promotional presence to be made online).

Even more costly are the management and artist self-publishing or pro-publishing services. $399.00 was the cheapest form of "Book Self Publishing" in which I priced promotional services and published books by the 1,000 count copies. For my poetic novel to be published and promoted by the various sales sites.

Where to start? Editorial sites claim your work needs to be done this "way." Your vision differs from "their views."

Compromises must be made and changes made for the deadline of your art and or book sales.

Most think that "to get your foot in the door" "one needs a famous tradename or business connection to list them." Partly.

"Flight 74 Systems Control" is our Media's Tradename and Registered "Doing Under The Business Name" and "sole Proprietory Title."

It is funny how people view names. Yes, one should find a reputable promoter, however, once viewers get used to your adverts or "public presence," they shall grow adjusted and warm to your online presence.

It takes time and effort, however, I feel it is worth the blood, sweat, and tears.
