Poetry Communicates with the Soul

They say that "music is the soul's universal language."

Not so, in my opinion. It's one of the most widely used forms of personal communications of the soul, however, so is poetry.

Poetry might speak in written words, however, it surpasses music due to one's need to imagine what the words are trying to say as there are no singers to perform the narrations of the feelings and structure to those words.

It is a magical talent to write down feelings. To write down the right combinations of descriptive words, sometimes rimes, and to also maintain a "melodic" flow" to your wordings.

Hard work goes into every tear that's spilt..Every smile that's supplied, and every bit of rage that pours into such writings. Then to find an editor, publisher, and promoter? Good luck.

Like the way of the Horse and Carriage - the days of the paperback or hard-cover poetry books are numbered. Ebooks are the rage as tablets make life not only easier, but, In my opinion; more lazy.

If I could express how many talented authors I see on Facebook , Hello Poetry, and Tumblr- posting their money worthy and fame worthy writings online for nothing - I'd have no where to know where to start.

Not even earning recognition or a dime, poets become "The starving artists." Not as hard and as at the low bottom as most musicians or actors must start or face.
